Location: Huntsville, AL (On-Site)
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Analyst to support advanced missile defense and aerospace programs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale simulation and test activities that support system development, integration, and operational evaluation.
The successful candidate will support simulation analysis efforts associated with developmental testing, integrated system evaluations, and flight test activities. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience working with simulation environments and technical data, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Modeling & Simulation (M&S) activities associated with developmental testing, integrated system evaluations, and flight test events
- Analyze simulation framework performance, capabilities, and operational effectiveness
- Review simulation and test data to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and accuracy issues
- Perform verification and validation activities to ensure data quality, integrity, and mission readiness
- Develop, maintain, and execute Python-based analysis tools and automation scripts
- Document findings and present technical results to engineering, program, and stakeholder teams
- Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and technical personnel to support successful execution of simulation campaigns and test objectives
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation processes, analysis methodologies, and operational workflows
- Support the integration and assessment of current and future simulation capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- 3–10 years of professional experience in Modeling & Simulation, Systems Analysis, Test & Evaluation, or a related field
- Experience with Python scripting and automation
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and command-line environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet schedule-driven objectives
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting missile defense, aerospace, defense, or complex systems programs
- Familiarity with distributed simulation frameworks and architectures
- Knowledge of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) environments and simulation infrastructure
- Experience with data analysis tools and libraries such as Pandas and NumPy
- Experience with simulation adapters, integration environments, or distributed testing frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and emerging analytical technologies
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and architectures
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Grafana
