As Chief Human Resources Officer, you will lead the strategic vision for all people-related functions across a complex, mission-driven organization. Your leadership will help teams thrive, strengthen workplace culture, and drive life-changing opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

In this executive role, you will align HR strategies with organizational goals, guide talent acquisition and development, shape compensation and benefits programs, and serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team. You’ll cultivate an inclusive, high-performing workplace across a multi-state footprint.

To excel, you’ll need a strong mix of strategic vision, executive leadership, nonprofit and government contracting fluency, and operational HR expertise. Change management, team development, and regulatory compliance—especially within AbilityOne or similar frameworks—are critical.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead HR strategy across support departments and operational divisions, aligning talent, structure, and culture with mission and business goals.
• Manage and develop the HR team.
• Modernize compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures and bonus design.
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and change initiatives.
• Drive employee engagement and workforce development across geographically dispersed locations.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, AbilityOne requirements, OSHA, DOL, and OFCCP standards.
• Support labor relations and assist with union negotiations aligned with organizational values.
• Leverage systems such as UKG/Ultipro, Intacct, Justifacts, SourceAmerica Training Academy, and other HRIS platforms.

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of progressive HR leadership, with 3–5 years at the executive level.
• Experience in government contracting and nonprofit operations.
• Expertise in strategic planning, employee engagement, and compensation design.
• Proven success leading geographically dispersed, multi-state teams.
• HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance required.
