The successful candidate will design, develop, and test electrical systems and components, with a particular emphasis on integrated circuitry and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems and components using CAD software.
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine design feasibility, cost, and performance benefits.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing, focusing on integrated circuitry, electrical enclosures, and value-engineering.
  • Perform testing and validation of prototypes and final products to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and other team members to integrate electrical designs with overall product architecture.
  • Identify and solve engineering problems by applying principles of electronics, electromagnetism, and control systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during the production process.
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in electrical design and development.
  • 3-5 years of experience in designing and manufacturing electrical systems, with a strong emphasis on integrated circuitry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and other engineering tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred, but not required.
