Currently recruiting for a Quality Compliance Specialist in Scottsboro, supporting high-quality rug production through compliance, documentation, and training oversight. This role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates with strong Excel and communication skills looking to grow in manufacturing and quality assurance.

Position Summary
The Quality Compliance role supports the facility’s commitment to producing high-quality rugs by ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and industry regulations. This position focuses on maintaining quality compliance documentation, monitoring training completion, and communicating quality standards throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

· Participate in and monitor quality and compliance training programs; ensure applicable updates and procedures are communicated across departments.

· Review customer quality requirements and specifications; summarize key points and ensure relevant standards are implemented on the production floor.

· Maintain and update quality compliance records, training logs, and documentation in accordance with internal and external requirements.

· Assist in internal audits and inspections to verify compliance with established procedures.

· Collaborate with supervisors and line leads to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are understood and applied.

· Support continuous improvement by identifying compliance gaps and suggesting process improvements.

· Ensure training materials and quality standards are current and accessible to all employees.

· Communicate clearly in writing and verbally to summarize findings, share updates, and document compliance activities.

Qualifications

· Education: Associate degree required (coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred).

· Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, quality control, or compliance preferred but not required.

Skills & Abilities:

· Strong reading comprehension and written communication skills.

· Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.

· Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to interpret and summarize technical or procedural information.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (most important), with experience in Word, PowerPoint, and AS400 systems.

· Ability to perform basic mathematical operations — addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

· Comfortable maintaining accurate documentation and tracking data within spreadsheets and reports.

Work Environment
Primarily temperature-controlled office environment with regular interaction with production personnel, supervisors, and management. Must be able to move throughout the facility, sit for long periods, and occasionally climb stairs.
