Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to design, develop, and optimize secure cloud solutions supporting mission-critical government programs. This role focuses on building cloud service delivery models, implementing automation using DevSecOps best practices, and supporting hybrid cloud environments that enable secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in AWS cloud technologies, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, and cloud security, along with experience developing solutions in classified environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks supporting IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and DaaS environments
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation using DevSecOps best practices
- Assess existing applications and develop cloud migration strategies
- Design resilient, secure, and cost-optimized cloud solutions
- Develop cloud-native applications and migrate legacy on-premises systems
- Troubleshoot cloud environments and manage cloud governance policies
- Implement secure cloud architectures with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities
- Design and develop scalable cloud software solutions independently
- Improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing cloud applications
- Participate in Agile Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Support secure multi-enclave environments (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)
- Collaborate with infrastructure and software development teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Associate degree with 11+ years of experience, OR
- High School Diploma/GED with 14+ years of experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
- Experience working within the SAFe Agile framework
- Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments
- Experience with:
- AWS GovCloud, SC2S, and C2S
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Docker and Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud monitoring and logging solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related technical field
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer
- Experience with:
- Python, .NET/C#, or similar programming languages
- DevSecOps tools and methodologies
