We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support advanced missile defense and system-of-systems engineering efforts. This role will focus on system architecture development, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements analysis, and integration activities supporting complex defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of system-level architecture and requirements
- Perform functional and behavioral analysis using MBSE methodologies
- Contribute to solutions addressing advanced threat systems including ballistic, hypersonic, aero-maneuvering, hyper-glide, and countermeasure technologies
- Support system-of-systems trade studies and architectural analysis
- Develop Change Notices (CNs) and system specifications
- Create architectural models and interface definitions
- Support requirements traceability and technical reviews
- Prepare and present technical briefings and engineering documentation
- Collaborate closely with customers, engineers, and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics (BS, MS, or PhD)
- Experience with system architecture development and requirements decomposition
- Experience using MBSE and system modeling tools
- Familiarity with Cameo/MSOSA, DOORS, or related engineering tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

- Missile defense modeling and simulation experience
- Experience with ballistic or advanced threat systems
- Air defense or intercept systems experience
- Space or sub-orbital mechanics knowledge
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Systems modeling and analysis background
